The Christmas Day Caper

Kolbi had a little trouble falling asleep Christmas Eve! She was dreaming sweet dreams of what kind of gifts Santa would bring her and her friends. She hoped that they were going to get everything they wanted.
Julie was also fast asleep dreaming about the things she may get! She wondered if Santa would like the Cookies they had decorated the night before! She was also worried about the milk, Did he like whole or low fat?! She didn't remember but she was sure he would be greatfull for whatever he got.
"Yaaawwwnnn!" The girls awoke bright and early and walked to the Living  Room where the tree was. "GASP! Look Julie!" Exclaimed Kolbi when she saw all the presents under the tree.
"Wow! How many do you think are there?!" Asked Julie. Then, remembering her thoughts before, she ran to the table where they had left the milk and cookies. "All gone!" She exclaimed, and ran back to Kolbi in the living room sitting by the tree, already opening her gifts.
"Look Julie! Look at my hat Santa gave me! Its so warm!" Said Kolbi as she tried on the fuzzy yellow hat. "It's my favorite color!"
"Yes! Yes! Look! Look he gave me a fuzzy pink ear band to keep my ears warm outside, and a purple headband with a flower!" Said Julie, very exited about the gifts. "What else did you get Kolbi?"
"Wow!" Kolbi exclaimed as she opened her second and third gifts. "I got some purfume, and a purse! Ohh it smells so good! What about you?" Asked Kolbi, exited to see what else her friend got.
"Oh look! I got purfume and a purse too! Ohh and it DOES smell good! Did you get anything else?"
"Awe look! A little stuffed animal! Its a unicorn! Hahaha!" Said Kolbi, opening her last gift to her. "Oh look, you have one last gift too! Open it Julie and see what it is! Hurry!"
"Awe look! A little stuffed lamb! Oh he's so cute!" The two girls shifted through the presents and laughed and played for hours with their new things.
"Wait, whats that?" Asked Julie. "Where? OH! I see it! Over there behind the tree! What is it?!" Said Kolbi. "I dunno! Lets find out!" Julie and Kolbi shuffled to the tree... What could it be? Was it a big bug? Or, maybe it was another present! OH! It moved! Maybe it WAS a bug! The girls were getting more scared the closer they got to the tree...
Them, WHOSH! A CAT jumped out from the tree! "AUHHHH!!!" Both the girls screamed! MEOOWWWWWWW!!! AUHHHHHH!!!! EEEEEEEEK!!!
Julie fainted as the cat jumped on Kolbi! "AHH!!!" She screamed! "MEOWWWW!!!!!!!!"
WHAM! The cat landed on Kolbi with a thud and sent her to the ground! Julie was still astonished! "WHAT IS IT!!!" Screamed Kolbi! The cat jumped onto the limp Julie, who had fainted yet again. "Meoooww!" Purred the cat!
"Meow?" Julie was dead to the world once again. "OH look Julie!" Kolbi said, shaking Julie to her sences once again. Its just a cat!
"How could a little thing like you cause so much commotion?!" Said Kolbi as she lifted the cat off of Julie. "Meow!" "Uhg! He scared me to death! I must have fainted twice!" Said Julie, standing to her feet. "Santa must have left him here for the both of us, but forgot to tell us! Hahaha! This is the best Christmas EVER!"
Kolbi put the cat on the ground. "Awww! He's really cute! What should we name him?" She asked Julie. "Well.." She said examining her Christmas List. "OH! Ok, I got everything I wanted on my list exept 'Jacks' you know, the game Jacks?" "Oh yeah!-" Said Kolbi. "But what does that have to do with naming the cat?" She asked.
"Well, since we both got everything that we asked for, exept that, maybe we should name the cat 'Jacks'!" Said Julie picking up the cat. "Aw! Thats a GREAT idea Julie!" The cat purred in response. HE liked the idea too.
"Jacks.." Kolbi repeated as he climed into their laps. Then with a smile, and a pat on the back, Julie said- "Merry Christmas!" Then Kolbi said as Jacks currled up under the Christmas tree, "Welcome to the family.."

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

It was Christmas Eve and Kolbi, Julie, and Madie's doll Lacy were all decorating the Christmas tree! "Julie!" Kolbi shouted. "Can you hand me that strand of Christmas lights?" "Where do I plug these in Kolbi?" asked Lacy.
After all the lights were on, Julie took the decoration that her and Kolbi had made together last Christmas and hung it on the tree. "Do you guys think this looks okay here?" She asked.
"The snowflakes are always my favorite decoration!" Said Kolbi as she hung up a sparkely silver one. "I kinda like the purple ones!" Said Lacy
"This huge pink snowflake has always been my favorite!" Said Julie as she hung it in the middle of the tree.
"You guys! I'm too short to put the tree topper on! Can someone get me something to stand on?" Asked Kolbi as she stood on her tip-toes trying to reach the top.
"Sure thing Kolbi!" Awnsered Lacy, as she ran to the kitchen to grap a chair. "Ah! There! The trees finished! Hit the lights Julie!" Exclaimed Kolbi as she placed the topper on the tree and climed off the chair.
The three girls stood in awe of the tree as it lit up the room with a briliant light. "Wow, we did a really great job girls!" Said Lacy as she looked the tree up and down. "This is gonna be the greatest Christmas EVER!" Said Julie. The girls whispered in hushed voices about the magnifisent tree before them.
"Okay ladies, its time to read 'The Night Before Christmas'!" Julie handed Kolbi the book and she begian to read- "Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimny with care, in hope that Saint Nicholas soon would be there-"
"-The children were nessled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads! And Mama in her Kerchief and I in my cap, had just settled down for a long winters nap..."
Kolbi continued to read the story till the end... "But I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, 'Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!' The End!" Julie sprung up and said, "We had better go to bed right now if we want Santa to bring us our gifts! Lets go!" So they all ran and got into bed. They had lots of trouble that night going to bed! Who can sleep when they know that Santas on his way?!
