Christmas Eve

It was Christmas Eve and Kolbi, Julie, and Madie's doll Lacy were all decorating the Christmas tree! "Julie!" Kolbi shouted. "Can you hand me that strand of Christmas lights?" "Where do I plug these in Kolbi?" asked Lacy.
After all the lights were on, Julie took the decoration that her and Kolbi had made together last Christmas and hung it on the tree. "Do you guys think this looks okay here?" She asked.
"The snowflakes are always my favorite decoration!" Said Kolbi as she hung up a sparkely silver one. "I kinda like the purple ones!" Said Lacy
"This huge pink snowflake has always been my favorite!" Said Julie as she hung it in the middle of the tree.
"You guys! I'm too short to put the tree topper on! Can someone get me something to stand on?" Asked Kolbi as she stood on her tip-toes trying to reach the top.
"Sure thing Kolbi!" Awnsered Lacy, as she ran to the kitchen to grap a chair. "Ah! There! The trees finished! Hit the lights Julie!" Exclaimed Kolbi as she placed the topper on the tree and climed off the chair.
The three girls stood in awe of the tree as it lit up the room with a briliant light. "Wow, we did a really great job girls!" Said Lacy as she looked the tree up and down. "This is gonna be the greatest Christmas EVER!" Said Julie. The girls whispered in hushed voices about the magnifisent tree before them.
"Okay ladies, its time to read 'The Night Before Christmas'!" Julie handed Kolbi the book and she begian to read- "Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimny with care, in hope that Saint Nicholas soon would be there-"
"-The children were nessled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads! And Mama in her Kerchief and I in my cap, had just settled down for a long winters nap..."
Kolbi continued to read the story till the end... "But I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, 'Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!' The End!" Julie sprung up and said, "We had better go to bed right now if we want Santa to bring us our gifts! Lets go!" So they all ran and got into bed. They had lots of trouble that night going to bed! Who can sleep when they know that Santas on his way?!
